World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum Reviews

We loved that our venue space was the WGHOF. Although neither of us are golfers, the venue was ideal for us in pricing, location, and size. It is large with ample areas to spread out into, making for a streamlined movement from ceremony by Pool of Unity, to Cocktail Hour by Bob Hope Theater, and Reception in Shell Hall. Additionally, the staff is wonderful! Super helpful, organized, and kind. I really liked working with them and they made sure things were helped along smoothly. We had one hiccup at the beginning of the ceremony when the wrong amount of chairs were put out which made us run a few minutes behind schedule to start the ceremony, but they were quick to help remedy the situation. We had so many compliments from our guests who used the hotel block at the Renaissance Hotel as well, since they could literally walk from their hotel room door directly to the ceremony and from the reception back without having to worry about a car. This is especially ideal if you have a heavy drinking crowd (which we did). I was very at ease knowing that many people were just walking to and from the venue.

Recommendations for changes I'd make if I did it again:
- If you decide to do your ceremony outdoors, really think about where the sun will be and the time of day. We had our guests facing the sun about 45 minutes before it set. This meant our after-ceremony pictures were GORGEOUS lighting-wise, but I felt bad seeing so many people have to wear sunglasses during the ceremony itself. Definitely something I wish we had talked through more with them at first.
- USE THE TOWER. I put together kind of a shoddy plan for it a few days ahead of time and it ended up being under-utilized. It really is a beautiful spot and would have been cooler if more of our guests had an opportunity to be there and see the views.

Overall, I think it's one of the best places in St. Augustine for a wedding. We looked at a lot of places downtown, but this location is right off the interstate, walking distance to a great hotel, easy to transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception without having to make people travel, affordable, great staff, and you'll have zero issues with parking. Don't overlook this gem, even if you're not into golf. You don't have to be to love it!

Callie went above and beyond for my wedding!!! Without her my wedding would have been miserable due. the venue absolute breath taking and all my guest were very impressed and entertained. This venue is absolutely the best place to get married in Jacksonville

Every aspect of having our wedding here was everything we dreamed of and more. It was top-notch from the first time we visited until ending the night of our wedding. We had so many of our guests compliment us on the venue whether they were golf lovers or not. It was completely worth every penny. We had our ceremony under the breezeway with reception in Shell Hall for 100 people still had more than plenty of room for eating, drinking, and lots of dancing.

I don’t know where to begin in reviewing the World Golf Hall of Fame as a wedding venue. Whether you have a small or large guest list, the unique layout of the facility provides many options for either an indoor or outdoor event. Plus, the site is beautiful. One of our favorite views is at the top of the tower looking out over the World Golf Village. We were blown away the first time we visited this venue because the pictures online don’t do it justice. The individuals who work or volunteer for the World Golf Hall of Fame are very friendly and helpful. I would also like to brag on the event coordinator we had through this venue... Callie is wonderful and stayed on top of everything. When it rained the afternoon of the wedding, she made sure our backup plan was set and ready to go. She even communicated the change with our vendors so that everyone was on the same page. I highly recommend the World Golf Hall of Fame!

My husband and I could NOT have been happier with having our wedding at the World Golf Hall of Fame! Callie made the whole process exceptionally less stressful. Her and her entire staff made my day so easy and everything happened flawlessly. Callie made sure that anything we wanted to make happen, happened. Even if certain things went against the rules, she helped me brainstorm to think of other alternatives. Highly recommend!

We had our ceremony at the Pool of Unity at the World Golf Hall of Fame and it was beautiful! Although we went through the Renaissance for the planning (as that was where we had our reception), Callie was amazing to work with! Last minute the weather changed and we had to look at inside options, which they were extremely flexible about. The staff there is incredible and I would definitely recommend the location!

My husband and I had our Rehearsal Dinner in the Tower at the World Golf Hall of Fame!! It was absolutely spectacular and everything we ever imagined for a rehearsal dinner. My husband is a big golf enthusiast, so having the views that we had meant so much to him. Our family and friends were very impressed with the beautiful scenery and there was plenty of space for everyone to gather comfortably while also walking out on the balcony to enjoy the breeze and incredible views! We have nothing but amazing memories and would recommend the World Golf Hall of Fame as a venue in a heart beat!

We had our ceremony in front of the unity pool. It was the perfect cite for our ceremony. Callie was great in communicating up to the last possible moment about rain and chair setup. We eventually decided on pushing the chairs back to the covered area due to rain, but it was still a beautiful view and we went closer to the unity pool for photos after the ceremony. They have a holding area for both the bride and groom. I would recommend World Golf as it was an easy, accommodating, beautiful and affordable add on to our Slammer & Squire reception.

The place was great, the setting for the outside wedding part was unbelievable over looking the pool of unity, and for the reception we were able to have the entire hall of fame to our party, that included the dance floor, putt putt and the interactive golf simulator

My husband and I are so glad we went with the World Golf Hall of Fame Museum for our wedding and reception venue. From the beginning of the process, Elizabeth answered any and all questions we had in a timely fashion! They day of our wedding, it rained throughout the evening; however, Callie did what she could to still make our ceremony happen outside! Our guests loved have the museum to explore during cocktail hour and the reception. So many options for the price of the venue and such a unique venue! My husband ended the evening with a surprise firework show (thank goodness the rain ended for that!) and Elizabeth shared vendors and people to fit each role we needed for our big day. Highly recommended!

This place made my Royal wedding so real. Married at sunset and a nice warm breeze at the end of October. Thank you World Golf. See you next year for our wedding anniversary.

Wow, where do I start?! My wife and I couldn’t be have been happier with the WGHOF as a venue for our amazing celebration! Our love truly blossomed over fun things including the game of golf and this experience was amazing. The ceremony was truly picturesque, cocktail hour was unique thanks to the museum flair and the reception was perfect! Incredible back drops, space for all to enjoy the evening and such a pleasant venue to work with. We could truly make this experience our own while enjoying the WGHOF to its fullest. Give it a chance, you will be glad you did! Highly recommended from the bridal party and all of the guests. A celebration everyone wanted to relive again and again!

Wedding was fantastic and what a beautiful location. The team at the Hall of Fame couldn't be anymore helpful and made it so easy for us!

The event space was set up perfectly, it was clean and set up on time. The Staff was extremely helpful and there when. We enjoyed our time spent at The Hall of Fame and will be back.

The wedding turned out beautifully despite the rain. Everyone worked so hard behind the scenes to make my day special and it was just like i wanted. great venue, beautiful and unique.

The venue was great to have a ceremony and reception. The price is great. The team there is very familiar with having events. It can accommodate various size groups and excellent facilities. If your having an evening event outside please ensure to have your own lighting vendors.

This venue is very picturesque! We were super happy with the backdrop for our special day and the guests absolutely raved about it. A nice and fairly unique thing to get married and then celebrate in an actual museum. The hotels nearby worked with us and were super close for our guests. Would definitely recommend it for a fun and exciting wedding!
