    TGT is a dream to work with, and the best money you will spend on your day!

    If you are on the fence about hiring The Get Together, allow me to ease your mind: DO IT! Unquestionably, you will be so happy you did. Hiring TGT was the absolute best money we could have spent on the wedding, hands down. The costs of a wedding or big event add up so quickly, and I think many people see a coordinator/planner as an area to cut costs, but I think this is a huge mistake. Julie was such an asset to our wedding and I can't imagine it without her. It was the dreamiest day and we owe it to her! Weeks later, friends are STILL saying to me, "by the way, your wedding coordinator was AMAZING!"

    Julie was both our month of coordinator and on site coordinator. From the start she went above and beyond, asking us questions we would have never thought to ask ourselves. She was literally made to do this, she has "best friend" energy and is as excited about your event as you are. Right away she picked up where I left off, and just wait until you see all of the planning materials and spreadsheets. I was blown away. She took care of detailed timelines, vendor contracts, payment schedules, and kept us on task for all of the little projects and elements we needed to complete. Alleviating some of this logistical stress was invaluable to us in the final weeks leading up to our wedding.

    The day of, she was there when you needed her and unseen when you didn't. When little things went wrong, as they always do, she made sure we didn't know until we absolutely needed to, and she had already fixed the problem. We had one slight mishap that would have put me in tears if I had known and had to deal with it myself, but by the time Julie told me she had already fixed it and it was no big deal at all. Not to mention the genuine positive attitude and can do energy she maintained throughout the long day. Seriously, run don't walk to hire TGT. And if you're in NYC, I hope you get to work with Julie, she's truly a gem!

    Excellent Experience

    My wedding would not have turned out so perfectly if it weren’t for Julie. I was on the fence about hiring a month-of coordinator but several of my vendors recommended this company very highly, they clearly have made a name for themselves in the industry! Julie helped us every step of the way and took so many tasks off our plate. She is warm and confident which made us feel very taken care of during what is typically the most stressful time of wedding prep. On the day of she was indispensable in organizing all of our vendors and guests. We were rained out of our original ceremony and cocktail hour locations but this wasn’t an issue at all because we agreed on a rain plan in advance and all of the vendors were given that plan ahead of time as well so it was seamless. Julie kept every element on schedule and prepared us for what we would need to do and when. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator/planner for your whole wedding planning, month-of, or day of I can’t emphasize enough that this is probably the best money we’ve spent on any part of our wedding. During the actual event my husband and I were totally stress-free and able to just focus on getting married and having an amazing party instead of fretting over logistics. With Julie’s expert help we were able to just enjoy our special day and the happy memories we have now are priceless.

    Best money spent in wedding budget - 10/10!!

    We had a GREAT experience with TGT. We planned a lot of our wedding on our own by the 6-week-out mark when Justine (the GOAT) stepped in. she was able to review our ideas and use her event expertise to modify our plans, point out blind spots or things we didn't even think to consider, take over the reins, and ultimately bring together a seamless event. plus she was calm and positive, even in the face of our wackier ideas or items we still hadn't done at the last minute. she kept it fun and light but also underneath it all, really really organized with weekend homework assignments and centralized spreadsheets and word docs. we didn't stress about a thing the day of our wedding, all thanks to Justine. i really feel this was the best money spent in our whole wedding budget and would hire them again 100 times over.

    Justine is Amazing!

    Justine is the coordinator you want in your corner! She is incredibly enthusiastic, funny, and detail-oriented. We had our first intro call a month out from our wedding, and from there, Justine created a structured plan for us to follow with weekly check-ins, all of which helped put our minds at ease. If there were any surprises that came up, Justine was on it immediately.

    Day of the wedding, Justine met us in the morning and was then seemingly everywhere at once, helping direct us, family, and vendors throughout the day. We received a ton of comments from family and friends about how awesome Justine was. Justine made all of the work that comes with planning a wedding so much easier; we can’t recommend her and TGT enough!

    My husband and I recently had the pleasure of working with Julie and Lauren from The Get Together Events Co. (TGT) for our wedding, and we cannot express our gratitude enough. We hired them for month-of planning services, and it was hands down the best decision we made for our big day.

    From the moment we handed everything off to Julie and Lauren, they took complete control, allowing us to relax the final month leading up to our wedding. The level of professionalism and attention to detail they brought to the table was unparalleled. They seamlessly connected with every vendor, ensuring that every aspect of our wedding, from the decor to the cake, venue, florals, entertainment (including drag queens!), DJ, photographer, and officiant, was executed flawlessly.

    The Get Together Events Co. - Professional, fun, dedicated

    We worked with Justine Salata primarily for our halloween-themed wedding. Justine did an absolutely incredible job managing every aspect of the wedding and reporting it out to us, every step of the way, in a format that was concise and simultaneously all-encompassing. She and The Get Together Events Co. as a whole share a passion for wedding planning and management that is evident in the work they do and the way they do it. She was a blast to work with the entire time, which was impressive given the amount she was covering, especially the day of the wedding. There were so many moving pieces, and she managed them seemingly effortlessly and with positivity the whole time. I cannot recommend this company enough. They are skilled at what they do, they're affordable, and they have a good time doing it (which means you will too).

    Chicago Autumn Wedding | TGT

    Katherine (on site) and Justine were AMAZING coordinators! Katherine went above and beyond to help us out with every detail and maintained a zen composer throughout the entire event. Thank you both SO much for making our special day such a fabulous time!! I would recommend TGT 12 times out of 10, their month-of services are a must!

    The absolute best, no question about it!

    If you are looking for a month-of wedding coordinator at literally any venue in Nashville, New York or beyond, seriously do not hesitate to hire TGT! As someone who is an event planner myself, I cannot recommend their team enough. Lauren, Justine, and Laura were unparalleled in their communication, energy, problem-solving skills and overall coordination. I am typically an extremely anxious and OCD person, and I was so calm on my wedding day because I trusted them 100% and they definitely exceeded all of my expectations. TGT is the best team of wedding coordinators and honestly the best kind of personalities you want to work with when planning your big day!!

    The Most Magical Wedding - Thanks to Justine & The Get Together Events Co.

    We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Get Together Events Co. Our planner, Justine, was just THE BEST! One of the nicest, most enthusiastic, supportive, and organized individuals we have come across. If you are planning a wedding, you know that it can be completely overwhelming. Having Justine come onboard for the final month, as well as the day of, was the best decision we made while wedding planning. She not only kept us organized and on track with all the details leading up to the wedding, but the day of the wedding she magically pulled it all together while we were relaxing and sipping on champagne getting beautified. Without her, we would have been running around trying to make our vision come to life! It was such a joy to work with Justine and the entire team at The Get Together Events Co. I would love to stay in touch and wish we could do it all over again.     Best decision ever! Tgt is a must have!

    I cannot thank The Get Together Events more for ensuring a seamless, stress free, absolutely perfect wedding day! Julie was an incredible coordinator, was extremely communicative, friendly, funny, and overall such a joy to partner with! I loved all of the formal documentation that we collaborated on, it was so easy to know how we were progressing each week leading up to the wedding. I’m a pretty organized person and love planning however I knew I needed someone to help stitch together final details and ensure it was all executed flawlessly day of — and Julie absolutely nailed it!! I was so at ease and present on my wedding day (which isn’t easy as an anxious perfectionist) and Julie assuaged all concerns… even did a magic rain dance to ensure the thunderstorms held off and we could keep the roof open during the ceremony (at the Wythe) ha! TGT is the best money you’ll spend on your wedding, guaranteed.

    Hire TGT immediately!

    I knew when I started wedding planning that I wanted a Month-of-Coordinator on our side! It was an extra expense for us, but one that I knew would take away some stress on the day of. Little did I know, that working with Justine and Lauren of TGT, would become the single best thing I did to set our wedding day up for success! Justine did more behind the scenes than I could have ever imagined, and was there every single step of the way, with helpful plans, lists, constant reassurance and supportive words. Not only did she take what felt like the weight of the world off my shoulders, she was a sounding board for worries and ideas, and my biggest hype-gal! She was by my side when I wasn't feeling well, and executed a last minute wardrobe alteration. She truly went above and beyond to give us the best day ever, and I could go on and on (and in tears!) talking about how amazing she is, and how relieved I felt the whole month leading up to our wedding, knowing we had her support. Don't even think twice, hiring TGT was the best decision we made, and you will be so glad that you did it too!

    Best decision we made!!

    We are truly obsessed with the get together, and specifically our coordinator Julie. Having a month of coordinator was a game changer and really allowed us to ENJOY our wedding without sweating the details. Julie was the perfect blend of organized approachable and level headed - we had full faith in her as she navigated that final month of logistics. Our wedding party and families were also obsessed with Julie and did inquire about whether she could stage manage their entire lives haha. If you’re on the fence about a coordinator, wholeheartedly suggest you go for it.

    Couldn’t have done this without them

    My husband and I were hellbent on planning our wedding ourselves to save cost and decided to invest in a month-of coordinator to hand things over to as the wedding got closer and we couldn’t have possibly made a better decision than The Get Together Events. Specifically, Justine Salata was an absolute superstar in keeping everything organized, getting us whatever we needed and, most importantly, keeping things running smoothly on wedding day. From the moment we each respectively stepped foot at the venue to the moment we left, she was there making sure everything was running smoothly and giving directions to those who needed it. We’ve been telling everyone this, but we could not have had as magical of a wedding as we did if it wasn’t for Justine and TGT. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Justine’s energy throughout the entire day was so positive and inviting and made for a completely stress-free atmosphere for my husband and I. We 1000% cannot recommend their services enough. Worth every single penny (and then some)!

    The best!

    TGT month-of coordination was one of the most important decisions we made for our wedding. The primary virtual meeting we had with Lauren and Justine was thorough and addressed so many details we would have never thought of. This initial meeting helped us get organized and fine-tune the details of the weekend.

    Justine was our main logistic lead (and the PERFECT coordinator), both in the lead up weeks and on the big day. Her positive energy made us feel so relaxed throughout the process so that we were able to enjoy our special day how we envisioned! At the end of the day, she truly has you and your partners well-being and happiness in mind. We couldn’t imagine our day without Justine and are forever grateful for her.

    HIRE THEM - just do it

    Julie was as close to a fairy godmother as I'll ever get. We hired Get Together Events for 'Month of' coordination. The transition from my disorganized brain to their very capable hands was so easy. We walked into the day without a care in the world. Julie took care of all of the vendors, some of our family members, and us with grace and a smile :D We had multiple people comment that we were the most relaxed bride and groom they'd ever seen -- it was definitely because of Julie!

    Not sure how anyone has a wedding without these guys

    Easily the best decision we made for the wedding. My husband and I did not have a wedding planner throughout the 18-month planning process, but as soon as she started, it felt like Justine had been with us from the get-go. Within the first hour of getting to know her, we were no longer terrified of letting something slip through the cracks. Within a few days, we felt this huge weight had been lifted from our shoulders. She jumped in so seamlessly, took over all vendor communication, and was on top of everything: details, payment deadlines, last-minute decisions, etc.

    The week before the big day, everyone involved in the wedding received an insanely detailed timeline of events that outlined who needed to be where and when - hair & makeup schedules, extended family photos, shuttle schedules, you name it. That weekend, she was also texting with our bridesmaids and groomsmen to make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be!

    We actually had an easy time managing our parents, but realize not everyone has that privilege. Even still, the closer we got to the wedding day, the more questions we were starting to field. "Ask Justine" became our go-to response to every single question. She mercifully looped us right out of those conversations, while keeping us in the know on anything important.

    One of the biggest, last-minute obstacles we ran into was how we were going to transport all of our (56) disco balls from Brooklyn to Beacon. Justine helped us brainstorm some creative solutions, and then literally offered her OWN car to pack our disco balls in. We never would have gotten everything up to Beacon without her.

    If she hadn't already proven her worth (and then some) in the 30 days leading up to the wedding, the wedding day sealed the deal. Justine brought such an incredible energy, made us and our wedding party so comfortable, and had us laughing all day long. It was such a whirlwind of the day, but she was there shepherding it along. She also knew exactly when to audible - for example, we quickly realized we didn't want to leave the dance floor for our cake cutting, which she picked up on immediately. She coordinated with our photographer so that we were able to slip in a 5-minute, low-key cake cutting without missing out on the rest of our party. Even the tiniest little things...she spotted me struggling to unbuckle my shoes at one point and ran over to help me.

    Like I said, TGT was the best decision we could have made and we seriously don't know how anyone makes it through their wedding day without a Justine.

    5/5 Do yourself a favor - choose TGT

    5/5. TGT is the best investment in your wedding – even more so than the venue or the details. If there is anything my wife and I would’ve reconsidered for our wedding, it would have been to work with Julie, Grace, and Lauren the second after I proposed. This team in one month, organized and remedied our year-long chaos, and we actually went into the wedding truly stress-free. On wedding day, the team’s preparation and experience really shone, and things that would’ve been an issue were rearranged and managed so flexibly that the whole day felt as perfect as we could’ve hoped for. I saw another review when we did our research that stated working with the TGT was like having “fairy godmothers”, and I couldn’t agree more. What they do is truly magic – with a smile.

    Best Coordinator Ever!

    Wow wow wow. Can't recommend The Get Together enough. Julie made it possible for us to feel so taken care of and stress free for our wedding weekend and the month before. She coordinated our welcome event and the wedding day. She's so organized and is the best communicator. She makes sure you think of everything in advance so you can have the most fun and works behind the scenes to ensure everything goes seamlessly. The day of she incredibly got us, our families and our niece and nephew through a rehearsal in ten minutes. She takes charge in the most unassuming, graceful and fun way! She'd always come to check in on us and our families to make sure we were good - she had scissors in her handy dandy toolkit to help me with my dress, she'd bring us water, food and drinks, she made everything look and flow amazingly. Honestly the best guest that we couldn't have lived without. Literally told her I love her at the wedding. Can't say enough incredible things! Also shout out to Liz, Julie's assistant for the wedding day, who popped in seamlessly and was so easy and fun to work with!

    Best Wedding Planner ever!

    The Get Together Events team is amazing! Julie and Lauren were so helpful through all of the planning stages - with their speedy, professional email responses and amazing problem solving skills, we knew we were in great hands from the first day they came on board. With our busy work schedules, we weren't sure if we could keep up with all of the details that need to be ironed out in those final weeks leading up to the wedding - thank goodness for Julie! Julie brought everyone together on the same page and all of our vendors raved about how great she was to work with. The wedding day was truly amazing and ran so smoothly - and knowing that Julie was running everything left me to actually enjoy the day! If you're on the edge and not sure about hiring Get Together Events, DO IT!

    You need tgt, seriously

    The Get Together was far and away the best money we spent on our wedding; we know this for a fact because my now-wife and I could not stop saying it to each other throughout the entire stressful processes.

    To say they are organized is an understatement. On our first call with Lauren and Justine, we started to describe the layout of our venue and before we even finished they said, “Oh don’t worry, we already did a site visit last week and are in contact with the manager.” That was just the first in a long, long line of them being a step ahead. Lauren planned everything to a tee, was in touch with all our vendors on our behalf, coordinated everything beautifully and genuinely asked how we were doing several times a week.

    On the day of the wedding, Justine was simply flawless. First of all, her energy was sensational. Her excitement was contagious and made us feel giddy. One of our niece’s described her as ‘a human exclamation point’! She orchestrated our non-traditional venue’s ceremony brilliantly, got our rowdy bridal party through the rehearsal with humor and kindness, and came up with solutions to in-the-moment issues flawlessly and with a smile.

    They anticipated needs before we even knew we had ones. They provided solutions we didn’t even know existed yet and happily pivoted when we had our own ideas/suggestions. It was like working with fairy godmothers. Planning a wedding is so beyond stressful (and we did a small one!), but do yourself a favor and hire TGT– you don’t even know how badly you need them. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

    TGT made our wedding PERFECT!

    We cannot recommend TGT enough!! Everything at our wedding went perfectly, all because of them. We used them for month-of coordination, and it was such a relief to hand off the planning right at crunch time. They thought of everything, including things we would have never considered. Julie made incredible documents that kept us organized and sent weekly to do emails to help prevent us from feeling overwhelmed while still keeping us on track. We wish we hired them to plan the whole wedding, it would have saved us a lot of stress and anxiety! Justine and Katherine were incredible day of, and made sure that we and our guests had everything taken care of and that everything was running according to schedule. Justine informed us whenever there was something we needed to do and even reminded us to eat :) Justine also brought an upbeat, positive energy that put everyone in a good mood. Katherine went above and beyond and recorded our ceremony with my maid of honor's camera. Compared to our rehearsal dinner, where we were in charge of everything, the wedding went so well and we were free to be present with each other and our guests. Do yourself a favor and hire TGT!

    If there's one thing you need for your wedding, it's TGT.

    Having TGT as a month-of-coordinator was easily THE BEST decision we made for our wedding. If you had to prioritize one thing, it should be to have TGT on your side for the big day. There were so many little details and activities I had planned throughout the day and this team executed everything FLAWLESSLY. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing during the weekend, and I couldn’t be more thankful!

    Justine was our logistics lead and when I tell you she is a superhero, I truly mean it. No question is too big or too small for her. She was the main contact for all of my vendors and also put together a schedule that had listed every little thing that was going on inside my brain. It was AMAZING. Whenever I had a question, I knew I could go to her and she would get it answered as soon as she could. Whenever I had a random thought or last minute idea I wanted to capture, she was already on it. She is truly so great and I wish everyone I ever worked with could be like Justine.

    During the rehearsal and wedding day, our onsite manager was Kristen. If you ever have her as your onsite manager, just know that you are in THE BEST hands. I will admit that I was a bit nervous that some things would be lost during knowledge transfer, but Kristen DID NOT MISS A BEAT. Everything went so smoothly and according to plan. As a very meticulous planner, that’s all I could ever ask for. On top of that, she is also just the sweetest human alive! If you get to work with Kristen, you will absolutely love it! In addition to Kristen, we also had help from Julia throughout the day! She was so great to work with and was super helpful when anyone from our wedding party had small or random questions!

    TGT truly gave me the dream team for my wedding and I am forever grateful. If you hire TGT for your wedding, I know you’ll also feel the same way!

    Best Coordinators I could ever ask for!

    Not only were Lauren and Kate my support system leading up to my wedding, but they literally made my day happen. With a complete venue change 5 hours prior to my ceremony starting, they took every stressor off my shoulders and executed my vision better than I could have ever imagined! Without them I know my wedding would not have been half as amazing as it was! I wish I would have hired them sooner. Lauren and Kate are wonderful people, but also bad ass women that are excellent at their job!

    TGT Saves the Day

    Lauren and her team are simply amazing. If you don't read the rest of this, just know: you need to hire them.

    The process begins with an exploratory call: potential clients get to hop on a video call with the TGT crew to get to know them and see if the planner/couple vibe is on point. Up until this point, our planning process had been tumultuous to say the least. I was blown away by their preparedness, excitement and strategic approach. This was around 60ish days out, but you can book them earlier than that (and should!)

    30 Days out, the couple and TGT hop on a Download Call. This is where you go over all of your planning docs (that you've uploaded to Google Drive via they're very thorough surveys). It's a two hour meeting where you hand over your wedding. From here on out, they've got it - and for real, they GOT it.

    You'll communicate via a shared Google Sheet; however, if that's not your vibe, you can answer questions/complete steps via email. An event manager (ours was Lauren) and day-of coordinator (ours was Tori) will respond to your questions, comments, concerns, and compliments every day - often times, multiple times a day.

    Fast forward the 30 days (everything goes so fast because you get to ENJOY the last moments of your engagement while they cross all the t's and dot all the i's). On your wedding day, your day of coordinator is the QB of the day. They are timely, efficient, courteous, flexible, and go the extra mile on absolutely everything.

    The Get Together saved my wedding day. Before signing with them, I was nervous, frustrated and basically over the day before it even began. Lauren, Tori and their team (shoutout Assistant Andy!) brought my vision to life, ensured everything ran smoothly, and allowed me (and my groom!) to have the absolute BEST day. Very thankful for The Get Together, and will recommend them one-thousand times over.
