Ceremony ending

I know some people throw rice or confetti or even bird seed. But, I'm leaning towards bubbles. Our venue is outside, I think it would be cool seeing the guests blowing bubbles.

I love bubbles and with their being children at the ceremony, I think they would enjoy it also.

That sounds great. Do you have a question about how to carry this idea out?

I'm thinking of doing bubbles! My venue is in the ocean so we can't throw anything unless is certain kinds of real flower petals.
Rice can kill and injure birds if ingested so a lot of places ban throwing rice, be sure to check before settling on anything

Typically it would be done when leaving the ceremony or at the end of the reception

Bubbles are very popular these days with so many places not wanting seed or confetti all over the ground. My friend did it for her wedding as they were leaving the church.

Such a great idea, much better than rice which can harm birds. I would check with your venue first though on any restrictions. A few we met with didn't allow some items. The one we ended up selecting wouldn't allow confetti as there is a pond on the premises.

We did bubbles but unfortunately there weren’t as many as we wanted in the pics. I decided to get some bubble guns to pump it up some but I ended up with non battery operated guns so definitely get the battery operated for maximum bubbles! We did have the usual small bubbles for the majority of the guests as well

We are doing sparklers for when my FH and I leave the reception. My theme is celestial and we are having the wedding in late afternoon/evening so the sparklers works out great!

I'd love to do sparklers at the end of the reception but any and all fireworks are illegal here. Even a simple sparkler.

I love the bubbles idea and the sparklers. Both great and unusual. Smiley smile

FH voted for the bubbles, so that is what we are going to do. He hasn't said much for ideas for the wedding, so I will definitely count his vote when he gives it, lol

I suspect my man will be much the same, although I intend to nudge him into it somehow.

Perhaps you could set up a wedding ideas board on pinterest, and invite him to collaborate on it with you. That way you can pool your ideas together.

That is what I am attempting to do with my guy. Dunno if it will work yet though. Lol.

It's too residential anymore. It stinks though.
