Face time ceremony?

Lynne, on June 17, 2019 at 12:45 AM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 10
My FMIL can't travel for health reasons. It makes us sad that she can't be with us for our special day.

We are thinking of doing face time of the ceremony. Is that crazy?

I don’t think that’s crazy at all. Are you gonna have someone FaceTime her for you?

I'm going to ask a relative of mine if she can do that for us.

I think that's a great idea. Im sure it will mean the world to her to be able to see it if she can't be there.

Sounds like a very sweet idea. Are you planning to a hire a videographer? It would be great for her to be able to experience the other events like your first dance or cake cutting.

We are planning something similar. FMIL lives out of the country and won’t be able to travel and so do half of FH’s siblings. We were thinking of making a FB group for them and then doing a FB live video to the group.

Not at all! FH is from Colombia, and we plan on live streaming our wedding, probably via FaceTime, so his family who can’t make it will be able to watch.

I don’t think that’s crazy at all. I believe we may have someone Live stream it for us. One of FH’s brothers can’t make it and some of my family members who live out of state may not be able to come. We want all of our loved ones to be there in any way possible.

I don't think so. We planned on doing it for my grandfather, who passed away before our wedding. I think it's a great idea!

We were going to have someone do this for my FMIL but she passed away in Feb.

I'd just be sure to let her know the exact times of everything because you might want to have someone FT her for just the ceremony and then cut it off while everyone is running around getting pics and stuff and then FT her again for the dances and cake cutting and send off?
