Fiancé(e) Friday! Love at first sight, or not quite? 😍

My first impression was that he is a giant goofball! Hes always the life of the party whether he is drinking or not and always puts a smile on everyone's face

It was not love at first sight for us. We were dating other people at the time and we became one big friend group our senior year of college. After graduation, my ex and I broke up and he also happened to be single at the time. Him and I grew closer since I turned to him for advice (he knew my relationship with my ex the best so I went to him for help). Gradually, feelings for each other grew and about a year after graduation, him and I started dating. It's been amazing ever since ...minus the blow out that happened between me, him, and my ex when he found out a few months in...safe to say it ended our friendship with my ex lol oh well

I think we hit it off really well first time we had a convo. We just instantly clicked.

I actually seen his truck before him so the long lasting joke in our relationship is that I actually fell in love with his truck first 😆 but the moment I turned the corner answer seen him it was definitely love at first sight. He was and still is the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen! It took us about two weeks to finally get over the shyness and one night at a bonfire “I Cross my Heart” by George Strait came on he walked over to me asked me to dance, I agreed. The song ended with the most magical kids and we have been inseparable for the past 4 1/2 years every since! Next October we will dance to that song as husband and wife❤️

Our story is a bit of a whirlwind! I was living in Atlanta, GA and him in Memphis, TN. I have a good girlfriend who lives in Memphis as well, who knows Ross (my FH). I was in town visiting for memorial day weekend 2017, when she invited Ross to come with me, her and her boyfriend to dinner and a nearby casino. He came, and we spent the entire night glued at the hip! We just had a blast. I can be awkward around new people, but within the first hour we both felt so comfortable together and were having so much fun. We ended up kissing at the end of the night! The next day we were going to my friends boyfriends farmhouse in the country, and Ross came as well! We all spent the night there and it was amazing. When I got back to Atlanta, me and Ross stayed in contact constantly over the next month or so! I know it is crazy, but I took a leap of faith and came to Memphis to stay with him for a bit, and I never left! He is my better half, he makes me want to be the best me, and we just have an amazing relationship and friendship! I am so grateful to have him in my life! Our friends thought we were crazy, but they admit now that we seem to be meant for each other!

I immediately thought he was a bit ditzy and goofy but as that day slowly finished and we finally parted ways; I realized he was the one. There was a feeling and I knew he’d be in my life for the long run!

Definitely love at first sight! FH is definitely so so handsome in my eyes, but his personality and how patient and kind he was on our first date when I was so shy is what completely stole my heart!

It was definitely not love at first sight. We ran in the same circles for 7 years before we even became romantically involved. We would wave or give each other the awkward side hug when we would run into each other lol. Now look at us! Getting married in 63 more days! I can't wait

It was love at first sight (first him, then me), two times— almost 6 years apart!!

We met when I was 17 and he was 19—set up by some friends who were trying to go out and didn’t want to be alone together yet. So I was really playing wingwoman and she said that her guy had a friend so I thought, why not? We talked over Facebook for a few weeks before we actually met, then dated for a few months, but barely did more than hold hands at the movies. We never even kissed! I think he touched my butt one time. I freak out (because I’m 17, awkward, and in a bad place mentally and emotionally from my mother’s death) and break up with him. We’re both pretty sad about it. He tells me now that it was love at first sight when he saw me on the beach that day we first met in 2012.

Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2017, I post a picture of myself and a friend (who is a mutual friend between us) on Facebook and tag her. Minutes later I get a like from him! So I take a chance, send him another friend request almost 5 years after we broke up and we started talking again. That only lasted for a few days, because I had just gone on a date with someone else and started seeing him. Had a horrible breakup with that guy at the New Year, had a few months where I went on some dates and stuff like that.

Then come Easter, I’m having a sleepless night and FH and I end up talking on Facebook all night long, then that turned into every single day, and then after a few days he asked me out!

When I opened my door when he picked me up for our first real official date, 5 ½ years after we met—that was love at first sight for me.

We met on Tinder and at first I was like “who is this hillbilly trying to talk to me?” She chased me for a while before I finally gave in.

I knew the moment our eyes locked.
He totally swept me off my feet and had me laughing in moments. Couldn't ask for a better supportive man

My FH and I discussed this question this morning and we both agree physical attraction is the only thing that can occur at first sight- love grows over time as you get to know the person. When we met, I wasn’t really looking for a relationship, so we just went out and had fun together. We started talking more and more and hanging out more and more until we both realized that our friendship had become more.

Best man for me. I thank God for him

My fiancé and I met at a friends house. At the time we were both dating other people. After that we had run into each other a few times in town. Never did I think. We would end up together. A year after our first encounter, I had just moved a few hours away, he messaged me on FB asking how I was and if I would be interested in hanging out sometime when I came back to town. We ended up hanging out and having an awesome time and started seeing each other. We had a long distance relationship for awhile. I ended up moving back to my hometown to be with him. We have been dating for 3 years and engaged for 1 and have our wedding set for May of 2020 💕

It was intense like at first sight, and we were official and exclusive after 2 days

I had a crush on him when I first saw him, but I thought he was a “too-cool-for-school” bad boy and ladies man. Thankfully I was way off!! He is the most genuine, caring, amazing man 💞

Does he still have the truck?! You must never let him get rid of it

We met in college. I was an award winning student, friends with the college staff, you can still walk in and ask the staff about me and they'll gush about how great I am. He was the opposite, if you went back and ask the staff about him they'd groan. He's gotten better but they'll still groan today.
I hated him.
I'd be studying my rear off in the student center and he'd come in and just dump his disorganized backpack out on top of my things and watch YouTube for an hour before someone told him to quit it. So they tried to get me to help him. It didn't work.
A year after I graduated I just sent him a Facebook message saying happy birthday and asked if he had plans, he didn't so I said that's too sad let's go have dinner. We've been inseperable sense.

Definitely not! I was certainly drawn to him, but more in a reality t.v., I wanted to scream at him, kinda way. It took a few years and re-introduction. We just synced then.

It wasn’t love at first sight, but I will say we’ve been inseparable since the day we met. He approached me at a Halloween party I went to with a friend after a break up I had experienced about 3 months prior. We’re the same age but I thought he was so immature. My mom and cousin actually talked me into giving him a chance and well, the rest is history lol
