Hi beautiful brides to Be,

So today my MOH and I attended an expo and registered for so many giveaways and soon received the "good news" that we had won a honeymoon package (NCA group) and kitchen knife which we would be able to claim and receive vouchers for after attending a cooking show. I guess what I am getting at is if this is a scam or not in the long run and/or worth our time? Has anyone had this experience and followed through with it to be successful?

    From what I remember it's not a scam but you have to sit through their demonstration. There were some posts about this several months ago.

    Always a scam if you have to pay the airfare for your "free" vacation.

    I just received a text with the same above message. I just don’t get a good feeling about this, so I will pass. I would hate for us to pay airfare and when we get there is a scam. Not gonna happen to me on my honeymoon. I’d love to hear what you all decided to do.

    Just received this same message. I called the bridal shop that hosted the bridal show and they claimed NCA were legit. She gave me the contact information for the lady that set up there vendor booth, and I am DEFINITELY going to email her, but from the looks of it from the post, I'm not so sure anymore. I already claimed my seats for the show, and will let you guys know how it goes. Not going to buy anything for sure though

    I got this message as well. A little hesitant to go. I just confimed that I was going. I hope it's not a scam. So I'm just going to go and check it. Is anyone going tomorrow? In Alabama?

    I just got a text saying that I won this vacation and have to go to a cooking show tomorrow to get a knife and all that! I am in Arkansas and went to a bridal show this afternoon. I was wondering if it was legit as well! I guess I will go to the cooking show tomorrow and see how that goes.

    Yeah that’s what I thought too! My mom thinks everyone won, but I haven’t seen another person that won in Arkansas, so maybe there’s just one winner a state? Do you have to go to a cooking show to receive it?

    There is one in Huntsville, AL that they are supposed to be having tomorrow and Wednesday. We chose the Wednesday date, but still hesitant about going.

    I actually did participate in one of these events. Yes the trip claims free but you have to pay transportation and the taxes. We ended up purchasing the cookware they were selling so we got a few more "freebies". We ended up getting my FH wedding band from one of the coupons, we only had to pay shipping. You just need to read all the fine print because there are still costs for everything.
