Save the date

Rebecca, on June 10, 2019 at 10:50 PM Posted in Registry 0 11
As I’m looking for my template and card I want to use for our save the dates I’m wondering...do we include our registries on them? Or our wedding website with them on there? Me and my fiancé are old fashion so have never had our own place (besides college) and are going to need a lotttt of things. We also have birthdays and Christmas that will come before the wedding...I don’t wanna seem greedy, but we also need alot of essentials 😅

We’re choosing to have a blurb on the back of our save the dates that say “we are so excited and hopeful that you will be a part of our big day! For more wedding details please visit our website...” our registry will be linked to it! Don’t feel greedy at all girl, it’s what is expected!!

You don’t need to include neither one but the website is recommended. You can add register here later on.

On our save the dates I included our wedding website which will eventually have our registered items on it!

Registry information only goes on a wedding website or shower invitation, not save the date or wedding invitation. We put our wedding website and several things were purchased off our registry when we sent save the dates.

I would just include the website, make sure it’s set up and ready before you send out the stds. I haven’t even sent out my actual invites yet and my hotel blocks already have 20+ rooms booked just from people getting the stds.

I had blocks set up in the end of Feb, we sent out our STDs in early March for our September 2019 wedding.

Most people that I know (myself included) will visit the website immediately (within a week or so) upon receiving a std to look up travel/accommodations if they are out of town.

No, your registry doesn't go on them. You can put your wedding website, and typically people find your registry there.

We included the website on the back of our save the date. My wedding planner really encouraged me to update the website frequently and I eventually added direct links to our registries. Guests will know to check there when the time comes!
