Should i get my makeup done for engagement pictures?

I have mine on July 17th and I set up an appt at Sephora! I plan to go simple and my friend used Sephora for herself and bridal party at timber wedding so hopefully i can use hem again for the actual wedding.

I got mine done at Sephora! Free if you buy $50 worth of products.

I am having my make-up done for our E-pics this weekend. The make-up artist Im interested in hiring for wedding day is going to do my make-up trial for the engagement shoot.

I second everyone's Sephora comments! My sister had her makeup done there for prom and the girl was seriously so sweet I considered asking her how much I would have to pay for her to take a day off of work and come do my BP's makeup the day of the wedding. And her makeup looked great! I know that not everyone will have the same personality, but the fact that the makeup session is free as long as you spend $50 on products is great. Most places you'd be paying that anyway, and only be going home with one day's worth of makeup. They also do skin care for you before the makeup, and walk you through what they're doing and give you tips to use at home.

If you havent already have it you might try doing your makeup trial the day of your engagement shoot.
Give yourself plenty of time in case it goes horribly wrong though, but I've had people do that and it turned out great.

I am, only because I'm using is as an extra trail of wedding day. I'm using my regular hairstylist and they have a makeup artist at the salon I go to.

Ours will be done June 23rd and I'm getting my makeup done for sure! I have a girl booked for wedding makeup and I guess this will be considered my "trial."

I got my makeup done for my engagement photos and I regret doing so. The makeup artist didn't do a good job. She used products that made my skin extra oily and my eye makeup came out terribly, I didn't have time to fix it before the pictures and they came out terribly. So I'd say before your engagement photos is not a good time for a trial unless you schedule the artist to come with enough time for you to fix it if need be.
