That's so neat, Pamela!! What a cool find! Where did you find this?
If I were you, which I'm not, I'd still check with the people at the pier if you've been in contact with them. I doubt it would, but I could see someone saying this could be a sight hazard or it could gum up boat engines or something like that. Better safe than sorry.

The pier is part of a the venue that we've rented out for the entire weekend. No boats will be in the area because we are not renting one to stay there, but I didn't think of that! Also I checked my contract and it says nothing about confetti, but we are strictly prohibited from using sparklers or those Chinese lanterns some people like to light.

How neat! It sounds to me like you're good to go and have your guests flick the confetti!

Water Soluble confetti!!!!
Did anyone else know this stuff exists? I'm so excited! Going to put one on every guests chair and after we kiss have them launch it! I made a really cute poem to attach to the "flick stick" and will use my Cricut to put our logo on the tube! We're getting married on a pier so this is perfect, no litter! The confetti is made out of rice paper so when it gets wet it breaks down. I saw a few videos online and with 30 seconds of being sprayed with a water hose its completely gone! So cool! Here's a link to the site!
