I am! I've been taking a HIIT class at a local workout place once a week since December. I also do some kind of work out at home 1-2 days a week from the Tone It Up app, and try to walk at least 2 miles every week. I've also cut down on soda and drink pretty much only water, and bring my own lunch everyday rather than going out.

I hired a trainer 2x/week for six weeks and did a keto diet for a few months. I only had 15 to lose and I did it!

My trainer said if I could only pick one, change diet because that’s 80%. Do that and daily walks, you’ll be on a good path (for life). You can do it! 🏆

Can you describe your keto plan? I kept to low carbs/sugar most of the time (I don't drink soda anyway) and did two 2-week sprints of NO carbs (bread, potatoes, rice, chips, tortillas, pasta, sugar of any kind even coffee creamer, wine, fruit, beans, or even veggies with high sugar like carrots). During those sprints I drank a keto protein drink in the morning with 1 hard-boiled egg.

I'm not sure about the healthy fats balance. Could you ask your doctor about a blood test to see if there are other issues that are keeping the pesky weight on (insulin issues, thyroid, hormones, etc)?

Hmmmm well you know maybe I’m not doing it right 😂😂😂 maybe I was still getting a little sugar in here and there like you said with the carrots etc . I’m going to try One more time and be a lot more strict. Do you have food plan you follow from online or any other guidance I can get ?

Lol. Processed sugar (soda, candy, chips, etc) is the worst. Bread/pasta carbs are also really fattening and I pretty much cut those out.

My trainer said with a keto shake to eat 0 carbs or the chemicals in the shake could actually give me puffy gut. Smiley atonished So my 2-week sprints were crazy strict. I missed crunchy things especially fruit or carrots (corn was another no-no). I'm not super excited about celery or cucumbers which seems to be my only crunchy options. De-shelling pistaschios was ok.

I'd suggest looking online. Tons of keto plans. I told my trainer what I normally ate so she said what was ok/not.

Hey Halle! I've just been trying to lose weight in general! I've really tried working on my diet more than anything, just because I have a sweet tooth and generally like junk food! I just try to focus on eating enough fruits and veggies each day as well as cutting carbs where I can! I also started stocking my fridge with healthy snacks! I've noticed a lot in just changing those little things! I also started doing Orange Theory, which I have been loving so far!

OrangeTheory has been my go-to for workouts! I love the workouts and the staff is amazing and very encouraging! I used to do CrossFit, and through that discovered the Zone meal plan/diet. Based on your build and weight loss goals, it provides you with appropriate portion control (and recipes if you want) through a combination of proteins, carbs and fats for each meal. It takes some getting used to because you have to manage/weigh portions, but I never felt super restricted with options. I lost about 8 lbs in 6 weeks following the meal plan, with 3-4x / week exercise, and felt great! There’s tons of online sites that offer you the info you need to get started.

I have a giant bottle of water that I drink every day; it’s about 3,000ml and I keep forcing myself to sip it. Makes me cut back on snacking.
protein shakes for breakfast, apple and organic peanut butter for lunch
my issue is I hate the gym so I workout at home.

Definitely give it another try, but keep in mind - keto isn't for everyone! If that doesn't work, maybe try another food plan that fits your needs and produces results if keto isn't the plan for you.

I've been doing Optavia and I love it! It consists of fuelings (5 snacks from the company) and one meal which consists of lean (steak, chicken, shrimp, any meat) and greens (non-stratchy vegetables). I am constantly eating and losing weight without having to work out! I started two weeks ago (have been cheating on the weekends) and down around 10 pounds!

I cut out all dairy, which is speeding up the weight loss process tremendously. I also try to workout 6 times a week, focusing mainly on cardio.

I am doing the HIIT and got a trainer at my gym. I also figured out the calories that are needed for me to maintain or lose the weight that I need to. For example, (this is specific to me personally) in order for me to just breathe every day, I need to eat 1300 calories. To maintain my weight, 1800, and to lose, ****. This is also in conjunction with doing my workouts 4-5 days a week. But keep in mind, what works for me might not work for you. Good luck!!!! and you've got this!

I am. I'm walking each day for a minimum of a mile, usually more. I'm getting back on my bariatric plan I should have been on after my surgery a couple years ago. I'd lost nearly 100 pounds and then got with my guy and when i'm happy I eat. He wants to lose some weight too, so it's definitely been easier with us both trying. I know I won't be down to where I was before by then, but that's ok. he loves me regardless of what the scale says. I do plan to be down some though so I can go down a size before I get my dress. I'm really close now, and it'll mean a more affordable wedding dress too
