Where to honeymoon

So I'm trying to research for honeymoon destinations and am having no luck. We were originally was researching Aruba, but there are not a lot of highly rated adults only resorts (we went to a resort once that wasn't adults only and couldn't relax). I then started researching Cancun and while it is reasonably priced, there is apparently an issue with a ton of seaweed washing up on beaches in large quantities that smells like eggs. That just doesn't scream romance to me lol. We are on the east coast in the US and are looking for a place that is under 10 hours away via plane ride. Any suggestions?

    We are going to Sandals Grenada. It is an adults only all inclusive resort. They also do packages with flights included. I am so looking forward to a relaxing beach vacation without having to pay separately for everything.

    We're going to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos! We're staying in an ocean-front condo instead of a resort, but I've heard a lot of great things about their resorts. Most of them are family friendly, but I know Club Med is adults only. I've heard great things about Club Med! It's on Grace Bay Beach (where most of the resorts are), which is consistently ranked the best beach in the world!

    The seaweed thing will be hit or miss anywhere you go. We went to Mexico (Mayan Riviera) for a vacation last year and the recent reviews talked a lot about seaweed issues. When we got there it was all gone. I think it's an issue that comes and goes. Just a chance you'd have to take.

    I know, we both just love to spend a lot of time in the ocean, and if we get there and it's full of nasty seaweed itll probably ruin the honeymoon

    The east coast has a lot of cruise options if that's your style! We live in South Carolina but will be driving down to Florida (about 6 hours) to take a cruise to the Bahamas Smiley smile Not the cheapest honeymoon in the world, but when you think of everything that's included in the price (room, food, on-board activities) and the add-ons available, it's not too bad of a deal!

    I've been looking into some! We are about 1 hour from NYC by train, so that is an option. There are a lot of cruises that port out of there

    Have you looked into Puerto Rico? Or other islands in the carribbean, such as St. Lucia. My friend went there, and she loved it, and it was very affordable.

    We are going on a cruise to the Bahamas! If booked at the right time you can get a really good deal as well as room upgrades for free or very low price if you book early enough!
