Which comes first...hair or makeup?

I am having my hair stylist and make up artist come to my house to do everyone's at the same time. The make up artist plans to do my make up last, and the hair stylist plans to do my hair somewhere in the middle. So I suppose that means I'm getting hair first then make up. But I don't think either will get messed up whichever order you choose. I'd reach out to your artists and ask their opinion on scheduling.

It doesn't really matter, but I'm doing hair first so I don't sweat my makeup off while having my hair done.

It doesn't matter. I had my hair done then makeup, while my sister had her makeup done then hair. We used the same girls so we just switched places, but they let us pick which order we wanted to go.

Yes, I thought so too. I worry about MUA messing up the loose pieces but then worry about my hairdresser messing up the makeup with all the hairspray she will be spraying. I guess I am just over thinking. LOL

My girl has to curl
my hair first and let it set while she started my makeup. Then she finished my hair and when back for the final touch up on my make up so it was more of a back and forth thing. 😊. Just trust the person you hired.....they will know what to do. Good luck

I think I'll have my hair done first and makeup last.

I did my hair first and then makeup was the last thing before getting into my dress-also depends on if you are doing any getting ready pictures, I wanted my hair done so that any getting ready pictures were like touch of makeup vs pictures of whole face being applied

My makeup artist is doing my makeup first because I’m getting airbrush and she will have to smooth all my hair back while she does my makeup.

My hair was done before my makeup, and then my hair stylist gave me one last "once over and spray" before we left the salon. Didn't matter the order though - there was a group of us, and some started with makeup, some with hair - all depends on what the salon decided in the interest of time.

Don't think it matters, but do whatever makes you feel most comfortable

Hair first. You don't want your makeup done then have it melted by the heat of hair curlers or straightners.

If it's professional I'm not sure it matters but I would say hair because the dryer and spray can mess up your make up if it's too harsh. Also they can adjust the make up to go better with the hair if it creates a shadow ect.

I’m doing my makeup first (I’m doing it myself). Then o going to get my hair fixed. I can easily touch up my makeup afterwards.
