      Picking the Perfect Wedding Jewelry

Whoever said "Diamonds are a girls best friend" knew what they were talking about, because when it comes to wedding jewelry, those beautiful little rocks have certainly set the standard. But while wedding rings typically get the most attention, wedding jewelry goes far beyond your fingers.

From necklaces to bracelets to earrings, we've got you covered with tips for selecting all of your wedding jewelry and accessories.

How Much Wedding Jewelry and What Kind?

The amount of wedding jewelry you wear is completely a personal preference, but the experts lean toward the idea of "less is more," and advise you not to wear such large pieces that they take away your beauty or that of your ring! When choosing your jewelry, it's recommended that you use it as a way to guide the eyes of your guests, and to make sure your selections complement your gown, since that is the focal point of your wedding look. You should also think about more than just earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Are you wearing a veil? If so, make sure your jewelry works well with your hair piece and veil, if you're wearing one.

Here are just a couple of suggestions for pairing jewelry with various gown types. For a bateau neckline, consider opting for a pair of teardrop earrings instead of wearing a necklace. V-neck gowns can be worn with or without a necklace and with long or short earrings. You can wear a statement necklace if your gown is strapless or go with a simple strand of pearls. It's easiest to incorporate jewelry with strapless and sweetheart necklines, but that doesn't mean there aren't hundreds of combinations to work with for other styles. The most important thing is that you feel beautiful in whatever jewelry you choose.
