Culver City, California
Our wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. It's a little slice of nature on a hilltop with stunning 180 degree jetliner views of Los Angeles. Milions of windows were aflame during our sunset cocktail hour and all our guests enjoyed dancing under the stars with twinking lights of city stretched out below them. It was truly stunning
The entire wedding was brought to life by Crafted Weddings. We knew we wanted a food truck wedding and it was surprisingly hard to find a food truck friendly venue in LA. Since Crafted Weddings specializes in food truck wedding packages and includes full coordination, I felt 100% at ease. The venue supplied power but everything else had to be brought in including lighting, rentals, bar, restrooms, flowers and of course, our food truck caterer. I know it took a lot of work, but our Crafted Weddings coordiantor Stephanie and her assistant made it look like magic.
Our food truck caterer, Heritage LA, was amazing. Crafted Weddings negotiated with them to provide passed appetizers during cocktail hour and a limited menu for dinner service so that everyone could have "the food truck experience" without waiting too long for thier meal. I received many compliments from guests on the food. Shout out to our bartender Jill (also arranged by Crafted Weddings) for pitching in during our setup and making mean craft cocktails all evening. Django Foxtrot did fun jazz spins on classic and indi rock favorites along with standards. Our beautiful wedding pics are by Mandee Johnson Photography.
We couldn't have been happier with our wedding. It was the perfect combo of beautiful, natural, casual, urban, and fun that matched our personal vibe. Thank you to all the vendors that made our day super special!
