The story of our wedding
Lauren and Anthony met on their first day of law school in 2013 and instantly felt a connection. They became best friends and roommates throughout law school until Tony finally asked Lauren on a date in their third and final year as classmates! They immediately realized how perfect they were for each other and fell deeply in love. They continued to live together as they began their careers, supporting each other throughout all kinds of life changes.
On September 28, 2018, Tony invited Lauren to dinner at a nice restaurant. Lauren didn't suspect a thing because the two were planning a vacation soon, so if any proposal were to happen, she thought it would be then! But after their romantic dinner together, they returned home to find that Tony had covered the entire apartment in roses and candles. Champagne was waiting on the table with champagne flutes that said "bride" and "groom." Tony got down on one knee and asked Lauren the magic question. Of course, she said yes!
Tony and Lauren greatly enjoyed planning their wedding over the next year. On September 14, 2019, they tied the knot in Westchester County where Tony's family is located. It was an incredible day full of love, laughter, friends, and family. The couple did not do a first look before the ceremony but did exchange letters to read. Reading the letters was so emotional and was a highlight of the day. When the two later saw each other down the aisle, both started crying happy tears. It was a magical moment and a wonderful day that they will treasure for the rest of their lives.
