2 Dec, 2022The story of our wedding
Although planning a wedding can be very stressful, I'm so grateful that on the day of our wedding my husband and I remained in bliss the entire day. Our winter, jewel toned wedding came out exactly how we imagined it. We started off with both sides of the wedding party getting ready together in a vacation rental home, right off of Historic Main Street in St. Charles, MO. The rental home was decorated for the holidays, and it was such a nice, inmate location for us to have our first look. My husband's groomsmen also loved playing in the game room!
We took photos all across Main Street and in front of our reception venue, the La Belle Couer. Our ceremony venue was just across the street at the Old Stone Chapel, a beautiful space with stone walls that date back over 200 years. One of my favorite parts about our ceremony was our Glass Unity Sculpture from Third Degree Glass Factory. We poured colorful glass shards together, and those pieces were used to create a glass sculpture that now lives on our fireplace.

Our guests really enjoyed the cookies too; my little brother-in-law ate over 10 himself! Our DJ kept the party energy high while also being super flexible. He even let my cousin rap Ice Ice Baby, which definetly surprised my in-laws. What a fun evening! I'm so happy we were able to celebrate with our friends and family.
