24 Apr, 2021The story of our wedding
Our wedding day was a dream come true! We got married at The Greenhouse at Driftwood in Driftwood, TX. Two gorgeous greenhouses -one filled with the most beautifully thriving tropical plants and the other with flourishing desert plants. The theme for our wedding was National Parks (my husband and I had recently bought a camper and had taken an 8k mile trip to 13 US National Parks and several other State Parks). Our ceremony was outside on the lawn under a beautifully floral decorated arch. The florals were one of our favorite things about our wedding. Our florist (Romantic Florals, Round Rock, TX) really exceeded our expectations providing a headpiece for the bride and flower girls, bouquets, arch and oak tree florals, decorating the dinner tables with beautiful centerpieces, and other various florals for decoration around the venue. Tricia was a breath of fresh air to work with and I put complete trust in her. The florals were more than I could have ever imagined! Following was a delicious dinner (catered by the best, Contigo Catering, Austin, TX) under a large Sperry tent. The food and signature cocktails were our second favorite thing about our wedding. We had heard excellent things about Contigo Catering, and they did not disappoint. They provided excellent service, and the food and signature cocktails were to die for! We still have wedding guests talking about the food! We cut the cake and dancing commenced under a beautifully decorated oak tree. Extras included a special sign that read “Emmons National Park est. 2021’ (Etsy), a camper bar (The Cosmo Camper, Austin, TX) fully stocked, and a DJ (Infinity Sound Lab, Austin, TX) for dancing the night away. We truly could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day to marry the love of our life!
