The story of our wedding

Dave and I met doing dishes in culinary school in 2013. May 4, 2016, he took me to a wonderful dinner at Vetri Cucina in Philadelphia and asked me to be his wife. After loads of planning, we were married on October 7, 2018, at the beautiful Anthony Wayne House. It had the most magical garden/woodsy/backyard/historical/elegant feeling to it. Really a one of a kind venue. We had a warm and sunny day. We wandered the beautiful grounds for lots of pictures to start, followed by our short but sweet ceremony. After, we spent a few minutes alone together (suggested by our planner Barbara Ann) eating appetizers and talking about the day so far. We then took a few more pictures and joined our family and friends at the cocktail hour. Some were taking pictures at our polaroid guestbook, some were sitting enjoying the wonderful food, and others were playing corn hole or hanging around the fire pit. It was so cool to watch them enjoy our planning. Next was dinner and dancing in the beautiful tent. One of my favorite moments was finding out that our wedding song was the same as my new in-laws. While Dave and I shared our first dance, his parents shared a beautiful moment. It was an unbelievably perfect day thanks to all of our wonderful vendors.
