Emilie and Matthew's Wedding in Royse City, Texas

The story of our wedding

Matthew and Emilie found true love at a time in their lives where the last thing they were expecting to find was their soulmate. The first time they met they were terrified due to their past, but they could not deny the instant connection they both felt. That connection grew and a whirl wind of romance later! Matthew asked Emilie for her hand in marriage.

The couple was married at Castle Waterford in Royse City Texas. The venue featured an Irish style castle, a heart-shaped pond, and a life-sized Cinderella carriage, all surrounded by the Enchanted Forest Trail. The couple hosted eighty-five guests at the venue. The wedding king and queen themed wedding was the definition of regal.

The ceremony was outside facing the castle and heart shaped pond. The reception took place in the main banquet hall, which included suits of armor, throne chairs for the sweetheart table and large dance floor. The reception also included incredible food, great music, dancing, fireworks, a llama meet and greet, and a sword archway grand exit.
