Jaryd and Alyssa's Wedding in Butler, Pennsylvania

Following the ceremony, guests headed over to the covered patio for passed hor d'oeuvres and cocktails, including our signature cocktail - a blackberry fizz martini, which included in-season blackberry preserves, a squeeze of lemon juice, vodka, and topped with prosecco. Guests were entertained by a pop-rock violinist for the hour.

All wooden signage was cut, sanded and stained by Jaryd and custom calligraphy for the signage was done by a friend, Kaitlyn Calligraphy. For our guestbook, we really wanted something we could hang in our home and look at for years to come instead of shoving under the bed, so we chose a wooden board with our last name circled by a beautiful wreath that guests signed around with gold, copper and silver sharpie pens - it turned out beautifully.

The reception space was beautiful with floor to ceiling windows, string lighting over the dance floor, and lots of eucalyptus, candlelight and wood pieces. The maid of honor, best man and father of the bride all gave excellent and beautiful speeches and Jaryd's uncle delivered the blessing. The mother-son, father-daughter and first dance all went off without a hitch. For dinner, guests chose between Prime Rib, Chicken Riviera and Eggplant Ratatouille served with chive mashed potatoes and green beans with julienne vegetables.

Then the party really got started! After a couple songs, we surprised by grandparents by playing my Pap's favorite song - My Way by Frank Sinatra. My grandparents have been married for 57 years and we are all incredibly close to them. Jaryd and I wanted to ensure we honored them during our wedding. My grandparents have always been big dancers - they love to dance together. A few months prior to our wedding my Pap was having trouble walking, so we were really worried he wouldn't be able to enjoy himself dancing with my Grammy at our wedding. But when that Frank Sinatra song came on and the dance floor cleared, man, my grandparents floated effortlessly around that dance floor. My family surrounded the dance floor, arm in arm, all in tears. Eventually Jaryd and I joined them and then my parents. We then switched so I was dancing with my Pap and Jaryd was dancing with my Grammy. It was a special moment that I will never forget for as long as I live and I know my grandparents will never forget it either - by the looks on their faces I think it might have been one of the happiest moments of their lives.

We had the best night ever as the dancing and drinking continued. We had an incredible sunset that night, it was orange and purple and almost looked as if the sky was on fire.

The reception was set to end at 11pm, so we planned to have pizza and breadsticks delivered at 10pm. IT WAS A HIT! Who doesn't love pizza and breadsticks after a night of such celebration? The goods were devoured in about 15 minutes.

The came to an end with us being surrounded by all of our loved ones holding sparklers and us running out the country club doors. We spun and dipped and kissed and laughed. It was a magical way to end the most magical day.
