The story of our wedding

I met John on NYE through mutual friends. I couldn't hear what he was saying, due to it being very loud in the party. so he passed me his phone with a blank text message. I took this as an opportunity to give the hot guy with the hockey flow my number, so I added my number into the text and hit send. He smiled. He asked me out on a date on January 8th, 2016, ironically we got married on that same date 6 years later. On February 13th he tied a ring around our cat's neck and when I arrived home the cat ran down the stairs away from him. He chased after her and I was very confused. He brought her back up and got down on one knee and asked me marry him. Of course I said yes! We began planning right away, touring venues and researching vendors. Then came a pandemic. Which made meeting vendors difficult, but there were lots of zoom meetings and phone calls instead. Luckily we had already chosen a date for 2022. Being laid off in 2020 helped me to plan plan plan. I had a blast doing it and I think it showed how much effort we put into everything.
