The story of our wedding

We had the wedding of our dreams. This is the second marriage for me and the third for my husband. But this is the first real marriage for both of us. Our grown children were involved in the planning process throughout and played a huge part in the wedding. The ceremony was held in our church and we added time for a rememberance of John's parents and two of my brothers who passed on too soon. We had the kids each light a candle then we used those candles to lite one large one together to signify the uniting of our families. The wedding party was small and the guest attending were very close friends and family, it was an intimate affair and just what we wanted. The pond in our backyard was the perfect backdrop for the reception. The day was beautiful, sunny and a lite breeze. We are very grateful to God for giving us to each other and providing the perfect day! May everyone who reads this have the wedding of their dreams.
