8 Dec, 2018The story of our wedding
Our wedding was full of romance and elegance with a touch of edge..dark candles, dim lighting, moody florals.
The team we built made it all possible. Everyone was insync for what the vision and feeling is supposed to be. Our main goal was to create a specific feeling of love and romance and everything else will fall into place...which it did. Completely. We started with our first look at sunset at Fort Adams...in the middle of the field, followed by inside the old rooms with peeling wall paper, funky chairs and soft lighting. We made our way up, in the freezing cold, to the roof where we had a moment to look over Newport and the sparkling bridge.
Our ceremony started after the sun was down, the room was lit with candlelight and soft, dimmed lights. Candles and greenery lined the isle and florals, the most amazing florals, cascaded down the arch ways...this is where Marco and I stood.
After the ceremony, we all headed to the Newport Blues Cafe where the space was transformed into a sexy, romantic party. We had passed foods and stations, no arranged seating or tablemapping for us. We danced the night away, literally. We had the time of our lives dancing to the band that truly, deserves a record deal. The energy of that night still moves through my bones. I will never forget it.
