The story of our wedding
Michael and I had been together eight years before he FINALLY popped the question and proposed during a game of Cards Against Humanity. I was completely surprised as I flipped over a card to read it out to our family and it said "Will you marry me?" The planning was a whirlwind as I quickly planned our dream destination wedding in Asheville, NC over the course of about 10 months. Luckily, we booked all the greatest vendors just in time. We wanted an intimated wedding of our closest family and friends. We limited our guest list to 40 people and it was the best decision that we have ever made! It made our wedding that much more special because we were able to truly connect with everyone there and include them in each part of our special day. From the outdoor ceremony at the Botanical Gardens at Asheville to the reception at Rhubarb, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day.
