The story of our wedding

Meeting: We met first in 2011 as high school students visiting The Ohio State University and again as college freshman at the school in 2013.

The Engagement: Paris, France - May 3rd, 2018

We had been planning our graduation trip to Paris for months. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with our Master's degrees, it was time for a well-needed vacation. That's all Gabrielle knew.

Michael had been quietly been planning the engagement for months. After asking for his parents' advice, her parents' blessing, and shopping with her mom for a ring, he just needed to figure out the perfect time and place on the trip. We visited Le Mur Des Je tTaime, that features "I Love You" written 350 ways in 250 languages. After sitting on a bench just enjoying the surrounding park, he handed over a book he had made which documented our nearly 5 years at the time. "Will you marry me?" was printed on the last page. Now, Paris will always hold a special place in our hearts.
