21 Nov, 2020The story of our wedding
When deciding to have a covid-19 wedding, we wanted to assure family and friends that we were making an educated decision and our venue and vendors were professional to adhere to CDC regulations. We wanted our guests to be safe as taking part of such a large gathering was very risky. Our venue and vendors went above and beyond to provide us with great service despite a pandemic. The coupleOur love story:Our love story began at work back in 2015. We had worked together for over two years, but never truly connected. We were introduced by mutual friends while attending the Delray Affair after work. After getting to know each other for the next couple of months, learning our mutual love for travel, outdoor activities and our love for dessert, the rest is history! #meettheboggsFrom the bride:Ever since we met, we’ve had 4 years full of mountain adventures, camping dates, pottery making, and marvel movie marathons. Finding your soulmate is all about finding the person whose way of viewing life is not necessarily the same as yours, but surely complements it. That’s how I knew Scott was the one! Scott is my constant encourager, my biggest supporter and my caring shoulder to lean on. PS: The fact that he makes homemade brownies played an important role in us getting to know each other. From the groom:A lifetime ago I finally got the attention of a very private person. Whether it was because of my charming charisma, incredibly good looks or simply the smell of brownies... we may never know! From the first time we met, I knew Dyna was someone special. Dyna's thoughtfulness and caring heart were evident in everything she did and it showed in the way she treated others. These values, along with all of our similar interests, made it obvious to me that she was someone I could not live without. It is amazing to me that growing up worlds apart we could have so much in common. We've enjoyed so many great experiences already. I can’t wait and truly look forward to what’s next. The Venue: Indian Springs We searched for a venue for about a year that would

elegant handicap friendly reception area. Indian Springs at Boynton Beach was conveniently
located 10min from our home making it the perfect venue for our wedding. Indian
Springs provided us with an all included package ranging from valet parking,
duo plate (filet mignon/sea bass), wine table service, open bar for 5hrs and a
reduced rate Rehearsal Dinner. Indian Springs Country Club is not widely
known/advertised. We came across the venue when attending a Bridal Show where
we hired a couple of our vendors. The
Florist: Tropic All Blooms n’ More
When it came to planning, there were two things that were important for us.
Food and ambiance. Althea from Tropic All Blooms n’ More met with us once (over
a year prior to our wedding). When speaking to Althea, we went over the “feel”
we wanted for our wedding. I had samples of colors for our wedding palette and
explained I wanted a mixture of colors with my favorite rose. I explained I
wanted colors to blend in, not “stick” out like many florists do. On the day
of, Althea delivered more than what we hoped for. Her pricing is amazing as she
works directly with flower farms, making her packages affordable. Althea is one
of the three vendors we would hire again and again. She is truly an artist that
can convert any room and make it magnificent. The
Photographer: Poirier Wedding Photography
When looking for a photographer, we wanted to make sure we found someone that
would capture “moments” and not simply a staged group photo. When looking via
WeddingWire, we came across Poirier Wedding Photography. Stacey was one of the
three vendors that we truly enjoy hiring and would do so again. She is truly
exceptional and professional. Her art truly shows in her pictures. The “happy”
feeling you get while looking at her work is what made us chose Poirier Wedding
as our day of photographer. The Officiant: Timeless by MiltonMilton was one of our last vendors we hired. He met with a
couple of officiants that left us with more questions than answers. When
choosing an officiant (we were new at this!), we needed guidance as putting a
ceremony together takes experience. Milton made sure to explain and go into
detail what our wedding ceremony would be like by asking us questions that were
very easy to answer. He “interviewed” us together, separately and put together
a wonderful ceremony that was unique and include us! Milton was one of the
three vendors that we will recommend to friends and family as he is truly
amazing at what he does. He made us feel calm despite all covid-19 challenges. The
Musician: Master Musicians
We love Spanish Guitar and wanted to have ceremony music along with cocktail
music. Master Musicians are extraordinary, and their packages are unbeatable.
They are very professional and commendable. Our guests enjoyed the Spanish
Guitar as we decided to not use anyone for our ceremony (due to covid-19
guidelines and separation issues). Everyone at the wedding raved about the
Spanish guitar as it set the mood for cocktail hour. The
Beauty: Bombshell Makeovers
Alexa and Carolina from Bombshell makeovers created my retro/romantic look and
made me feel beautiful. My bridesmaids and I are not fond of makeup, but Alexa
did an amazing job with makeup that made us feel great. Carolina has such an
art for hair. She made my Asian type hair look great in soft waves that lasted
all night. Bombshell makeovers truly
made our day.The
Dress: Amazing Brides CoutureShopping for your wedding dress is a once in a lifetime experience. The moment my future mother-in-law and I entered Amazing Brides Couture, we knew our shopping experience was going to be savored and not streamlined. Being a once in a lifetime experience for me, I was looking for someone knowledgeable, someone who would guide me to find the perfect dress that would fit my body type and my budget. Being left down at another bridal shop (first time ever trying dresses without proper guidance by a bridal consultant is the bride’s worst nightmare) I had concerns and was not looking forward to this appointment. Having the undivided attention of a bridal consultant is a must, having the undivided attention of a seasoned bridal consultant is simply marvelous. Amazing Bridal Couture provides exclusive services tailored to the bride. The moment you step in, you are educated and guided. You are pampered and taken care of! Never once, I felt I had a question as everything was fully explained while I tried my first dress on. Once I told the owner my area of concern (lower belly area) and what I liked about the dress I had requested to tried on, she immediately knew what to get for me as my second dress. Her expertise is immeasurable, just by giving one look at my first trial she was able to pick the dress that fit my body style and enhanced my curves! I said yes to my dress!
