The story of our wedding
For our wedding I had a vision. My vision was a theme of "shades of blue". I love DIY and wanted to save on costs but I wanted this day to be intimate. I also wanted everyone to see my vision for my wedding day. When everyone would ask what it meant I just say "you'll see". My dress was a surprise to everyone, only my maid of honor was with me through the process. I had a first look with my mom, bridesmaids, my brother, my dad, and my now husband. It was a lot of tears but all joyful tears. It was an emotional day for us. Spending almost 12 years with my now husband to have this amazing day together is all we wanted. To be able to see all the smiles on everyone’s faces and celebrating with us all worth it. Every detailed count for me. The charms of my grandparents on my bouquet, fatheads of my dogs in our photo booth, the seating chart I came up with, the flower wall I made, the late night ramen noodles, and even down to my girl scout cookie bar (since they don't sell them anymore). Everything was simple but meticulously thought out.
